It is one of 6 rooms in a house, has sloped ceilings and a big window that let in lots of natural light (perfect for plants) It is $575 a month with utilities being about $80 on average on top of that.

There is a shared kitchen with 2 fridges and dining room, lots of counter space with a ketlle, toaster and microwave. And a cupboard for each person with extra space over one of the fridges with shared baking supplies. There is a large living room with 2 couches, a table, tv, boardgames and a piano. The bathroom is shared with 2 others, has a nice window and a bath/shower and there is a large basement. There is a front porch with a bench seat, perfect for sunsets with a large oak out front and there is a large backyard with a covered deck, table and chairs. and nice trees. There is also parking available with a large driveway and a garage for storage.

The house is walking distance to Algonquin (~15 minutes) and has 4 grocery stores within 15 minutes and 3 more within 20 to 30 minutes, there are two libraries nearby, lots of restaurants, some nice cafes, a hardware store and there are nearby bus stops.

There is also a large basement room available for $670 from May-April as well

There are 6 of us in the house, Megan, Esther, Lauren, Emma, Kef and myself and we are all young professionals with some doing grad school at Carleton and UOttawa or going to Algonquin.

We like to to art nights and boardgame nights together and have done group dinners and movie nights, and chat and hangout. We have a lot of hobbies, people like to paint, go for walks, bake, bike, run, keep plants, do sewing and knitting, crochet, cook, play music, watch movies and read, go to cafes and markets, play boardgames and cards and find new hobbies! We are relaxed and chat about our days but also understand that people need space, need to study etc.
