Looking for roommates / summer sublets! Hi everyone! We’re hoping to fill some rooms in our beautiful 6 bedroom house in Oak Bay. All 6 rooms are available from May 1 - August 31, and 3 will be available on September 1. Our house is a phenomenal place to spend the summer! There’s a huge backyard with a deck that’s perfect for lounging/tanning/doing homework. We’re walking distance to Gonzales Bay, Ross Bay, Dallas Road, Willows Beach, and Oak Bay Village. It’s just under 30 minutes by bus to UVic, including the walk to the bus stop (7, 11, 14, or 15). It only takes 10 minutes to bus downtown (and on a nice day, walking to inner harbour is totally doable). We have also have parking for 4 cars and a bike room. There are two options:

• If you’re looking for summer housing, you can sublet any of the 6 rooms from May 1 - August 31. We’re open to groups or individuals. 5 regular rooms ($960 + utilities) and primary bedroom available ($990 + utilities)
• We’re also looking for longer-term roommates - people who’d either stay from May 1, 2025 - May 1st, 2026, or FIND THEIR OWN SUBLET for the summer and move in on September 1! The vibe is upper-year undergrad students/graduate students

Macie and Macy are recent UVic grads and original residents of the house 👯‍♀️ In September, they’re running it back and doing their Bachelor of Education Post-Degree Professional Program (PDPP). We have the same name and we’re basically the same person, except I’m going into elementary education and Macie’s going to be a high school French and PHE teacher. We’re 23, play on the UVic volleyball team, and can’t say no to an outdoor adventure (e.g., surfing in Tofino) or a night on the town (think Darcy’s or The Duke Saloon)!

Zeinab: I’m 22 years old, born and raised in Toronto, and graduating this June from UBCO. I’m moving to Victoria because I’m starting my MSW this fall at UVic! I’m pretty easygoing; I love to paint, have a fun night out, or a cozy movie night at home. I’m super outgoing once I get comfortable and I am looking for roomies who match that vibe 😊
