We’re looking for someone to rent an unfurnished room in a 3 bed 1 bath farmhouse just off the 417, 15 minutes from downtown. CAR REQUIRED as we’re in the greenbelt near the Mer Bleue bog, so there is no public transit access.

RENT: $725 all-included (heat, hydro, internet) First and last preferred, but if the deposit is a barrier to you, let me know and we can discuss other options.

MOVE-IN: June 1st preferred, but we’re flexible. Long-term or short term is fine with us.

AMENITIES: Free parking, dishwasher, basement storage, A/C, outdoor living/garden space, washer/dryer, and fresh veggies.

PETS: We have two cats already, so we are not open to roommates with dogs. Another cat would be fine as long as it gets along with other cats.

ACCESSIBILITY: there are a few steps at each entrance to the building, and a slightly steep staircase to access the basement, where the laundry facilities and storage are. The doorways to access the kitchen are a little narrow to comfortably navigate a wheelchair through, but something like a walker would fit without issue.

The room is just under 100sqft, and the house has large common spaces and plenty of storage.

My boyfriend and I recently started renting this place with another roommate, so there will be 3 other people in the house. We are all queer/trans, so inclusivity is a must. The property will eventually be turned into a small-scale vegetable farm, but we are only doing preliminary setup work for the time being.
