Nestled in the heart of Little Italy, our home is in a perfect Toronto sweet spot where you get the perks of a quiet neighbourhood while still having easy access to Toronto’s downtown life and activities. 10 minutes from the Ossington subway station and 5 minutes away from the 506 College streetcar, plus 2 bus routes (63 and 94) are steps away, making public transit extremely accessible.

Our apartment is a 3 bed 1 bath, part of a 3 floor apartment building where each floor is a separate unit. We are on the 3rd floor, giving us the most privacy and sunlight (see huge living room window). The available room is an 9’11“ x 9’3“ with a closet, a large window that gets gorgeous sunlight in the morning. The previous is selling the furniture currently shown, so if you see any items you like please reach out!

The rent (utilities included) is $1344. Wi-Fi ($67.79) and renter’s insurance ($27.09) are split 3-way, totalling to $31.63/month each (so everything will be $1344 + $31.63 per month).

The common spaces include a sectioned-off kitchen (microwave, dishwasher, washer+dryer) that opens up to the living and dining area, which are very spacious. Our living room has a large dining table as well as a TV, coffee table and couch, where we spend most of our time playing video games and chatting. We love the way we personalised these areas and we would like to have a space that reflects all of us in this home.

We have one bathroom that has a shower/bathtub, a toilet, and a sink with large counter space and under the sink storage. We also have 6 drawers that we have divided equally between us.

We have plenty of storage space; we have 2 shared storage closets, one near the entrance where we mostly hang coats and another in the bedrooms’ hallway where we store household items, towels, etc.

The house also comes with access to an outdoor area with a BBQ and a large picnic table. Our neighbours are all friendly and very kind and we’ve had no issues over the past year we’ve lived here. We truly love the apartment and the homey environment we’ve created here, and we’re excited to welcome a new roommate into the fold! :)

Hello! We are two girls, Shiv (26 yrs old) and Ariane (22 yrs old) who are being abandoned by our third roommate (she is moving out of Canada) and are now in need of a new roommate! We have been living together for the past couple of months and really enjoy it! We are a home of friends, and we cherish the atmosphere we’ve curated of closeness and comfort to be fully yourself at home, and we value being close with the people we live with. We really enjoy staying in, lounging, playing video games, and watching TV shows together. We also often enjoy going out, doing fun activities, and having friends over! Overall, we’re both very chill people who understand the importance of communication to maintain a healthy roommate/friend relationship and are proactive about making this place a home for the three of us!

A little about each of us:

Shiv: Hi! I’m working as an Instructor Therapist (IT) with neurodivergent children and adolescents. I am also pursuing my master’s to become a registered psychotherapist. I’m usually out most of the day during the weekdays for work, but once I’m back home, I love to cook, watch anime (trying to catch up on One Piece—my friends have been telling me to watch it for eons x_x), and am in my little phase of learning how to sing. I also LOVE playing board games with everyone if they’re down for it, so if we ever wanna have board game nights, count me in! Hehe :)

Ariane: Hi! My name is Ariane, and I am a Canadian-American student in my fourth year of the Fashion program at Toronto Metropolitan University. When I am not working or at school, I love to bake, do crafts and spend time with my friends. I especially love bringing all of my friends together for dinner and creating fun memories :) As a roommate, I keep things clean, always make sure everyone gets a bite of whatever sweet treat I’m making, and I will always be up for a late night chat :)
