About the room
Hi! I’m looking for a roommate to share my 2 bed 1 bath apartment just off Commercial Drive. The apartment is on the 3rd floor with elevator access and lots of natural light. Your room is 8x10, unfurnished, and private, with a large south facing window. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher. There is limited kitchen storage so please let me know what you intend to bring! Common spaces include a cozy living area, a dining nook, and a smoke-free balcony. Free street parking is available, with underground parking options for an additional fee (to be arranged with the building manager). There is pay-per-use laundry in the basement, as well. Please note: Unfortunately, there is no bike storage on the premises.
Location perks: The apartment is less than a 10-minute walk to the Commercial/Broadway sky train station. It is just one block off Commercial Drive, close to plenty of small grocery stores, cafes, and restaurants. The neighbours are friendly and the building manager is super responsive and helpful.

I’m a working professional in my 30’s with a friendly cat named Freya. I typically work from home 2 days a week. In my free time, I enjoy reading, hosting friends, and working on stained-glass projects in my small home studio. This is an LGBTQIA+ friendly household, and I value keeping the apartment a restful place to unwind. I’m hoping to find someone who is a good fit to share the apartment with :)
