Erius's room

The room is part of a basement suite located a short bus ride from the University of Victoria and both Camosun College campuses. The window looks out onto a main road, and bus stops are less than a 5 minute walk away, allowing easy access to campuses and Victoria’s downtown. Street parking is available for vehicles.

Behind the folding door is a crawlspace that offers storage for bulkier items. The main door connects to the common area of the suite, which in turn connects to the kitchen, bathroom, and the other occupied room.

Floor space for the room is 13 feet 1 inch by 11 feet 10 inches. It has a heat pump in it, which keeps things nice and warm in winter. The floor is carpeted, and the ceiling is 7 feet 11 inches high. The landlords live on the floor above, so occasionally muted voices or footsteps can be heard.

The suite itself has the usual amenities - oven, refrigerator, access to laundry. Internet is 250 mbps and not shared with landlords. The suite does not allow pets or smoking.

There’s a mountain’s worth of hiking trails and a beach nearby, and plenty of local supermarkets and other stores easily reachable by bus or bike.

This would be an excellent choice for a student or young person just starting their career because of the easy access to amenities and central location.

Hello hello! My name is Erius! (They/Them) I am a student finishing up my degree at the University of Victoria, and the only other occupant of the suite.

Calm and tidy describes my general approach to living with a roommate, and I look for the same in others. Depending on how much socializing people look for, I can be either chatty or quiet.

I tend to play music softly - the suite is fairly soundproof - and cook a lot. I don’t drink, smoke, or party, though I do have friends over occasionally.

My interests fall into the areas of fantasy books and movies, health, tabletop RPGs, gardening, paranormal topics and the outdoors. If there’s crossover with your interests, we’ll probably get along really well!
