We have a cozy room, located in a two story house in the SW of Calgary near 162nd, Stoney Trail, and James McKevitt Road SW. - Minutes from Fish Creek Park by car or a healthy walk if you are active.

There are plenty of shopping amenities within walking distance also, including a Sobey’s that is a few blocks away.

There is street parking, free laundry and free veggies and crabapples all summer. We also have a grape vine, raspberry bushes, and backyard gardens. It is an older building that is well loved but it is well loved.

There is a soaker tub in the upstairs bathroom and there is a guest bathroom on the main floor as well.
There are two living areas, one in the front off the porch, and another off the upper back deck.

We have a shed for some storage as well. The bed is not included but the two side tables for bedroom storage are available for use.

You will be living upstairs with the main tenant. I am a professional who is currently on Sabbatical. The house is quiet and perfect for someone who is looking for a place to focus or relax after a hard day at work.

I don’t ask for a lot. I am friendly and respectful of your privacy and property. I have been told, I’m not a bad cook if you are up for a few home-cooked meals. I am a story-teller who loves a good conversation that feeds both of us and I also need my time to recharge, focus, and rest like most of us.

What we are seeking: A mature, honest person who desires to live peacefully while reducing their financial load, and who will care for their impact by considering others.

We are looking for someone who values reciprocity and nature, and just wants to do their life without the headaches. Headaches happen. Let’s help each other in this crazy world to have a bit of sanctuary.

What we don’t want: We are not looking for someone who is dishonest; who chooses silence over communication; doesn’t pay their bills; is not clean; who parties loud and proud; feels entitled; believes in perfection; swears by pesticides; and hates gardens, creativity, spirituality; and open hearts.

Who is the we? We have quiet, friendly gentleman living in our downstairs walkout. He has his own private entrance and is very respectful and kind.
