About the room
Room for rent in an awesome burnaby townhouse. It’s a 3 bedroom + office ( the room with the sliding patio door to the backyard is the office), with 1.5 bathrooms, 2 balconies, lots of storage, and a small private backyard space. It includes in-suite laundry and high speed internet. There is one additional (off-street) parking space up for grabs, and the Sperling-Burnaby Lake train station is literally across the street. Short-term rental potentialy available, but seeking a long-term roommate.
The room is average size with large closet and window looking onto backyard. Fits a queen bed + dresser or desk (the queen bed is not included). No smoking, no pets. $1250 plus utilities. Can be furnished if necessary (which would make rent $1350).
Gatherings are cool, like dinners and game nights etc, but this is not the party spot lol. Looking for respectful, responsible, and easy going tenants.
The office space is a shared space, so if you need to work from home once and a while, or need the use of a workspace with computer screens, you will have full access.
As you can see from the photos, I’m still unpacking. The backyard will have outdoor furniture and a propane fireplace, and the TV (75’) in the living room will be mounted to the wall, desk to be added to office, additional artwork to be put up, etc.

About the roomies
Roomies: 2 early 40’s guys, employed full time (both work daytime 9-5, off-property).
One roomie works/studies at SFU and enjoys baking and board games, the other is an environmental consultant that enjoys movie nights and hiking. Both are super laid back, easy going, open minded, and respectful. Total chill house vibes!
