The property is a 4 bedroom house in a residential area. The kitchen and common spaces are shared and 2 of the rooms are currently occupied. There is a main floor and a basement with a bathroom for each floor. The building itself is a 15 minute walk from Freshco, 10 from shoppers, and 5 from a convenience store. It is also a 2 minute walk to the bus stop (which the 10 stops at!) The rental company that owns the house is extremely responsive to issues and always gets fixed right away. There have never been any pest issues of any kind. There is heating, AC, a dishwasher, and free laundry machines.
The room itself is in the basement. It is on the small side but I have lived here for 3 years and I have found it to be very cozy!
There are 2 people, one (25F) is a student at Mac and the other (24M) is a barista. We have been friends for years and lived together for years as well. There is a third currently but he will be moving out at the end of April.
We are looking for people in their early or mid-20s who are LGBTQ+ friendly and who are willing to chat a bit and get to know the other roomies a bit and feel out if the situation would work for everyone. It is a mostly quiet household, but also a friendly and welcoming environment.
