We live in a beautiful old post and beam house in the upper British Properties in West Van, with gorgeous views overlooking Lions Gate, downtown and Kits far off in the distance.

The house is beautiful but older and in worn condition.

Yard is huge and private. There is an outside hot tub. Lots of room for gardening and has a big fire pitt with a lovely view.

It is available now.

It’s minutes away from downtown but quiet like the country.

Bus stop out front.

Parking also available.

The bedroom has a decent sized closet, its own entrence to outside and it’s just steps away from the hot tub.

Room is currently furnished with a king bed, older dresser and optional older school desk and small fridge. It could possibly come unfurnished if you prefer.

We would be open to someone just renting a room, maybe who is just in town to work? … or someone who wants to be more involved in the house, be a roommate and do their share of house maintenance. We may be flexible with rent rate for a longer term roomie who is a really good fit or brings

We would also consider shorter term rental from $600 a week.

Our house is dog and cat friendly. The cat is an inside cat and has a mind of her own, the dog is small (5lbs) and is with me most of the time. We also caretake a small older dog who lives with us for the winter. We would be open to another pet if everyone got along

On site shared laundry.

We have started putting some gym equipment together in the covered space outside and are hoping to have it be more functional shortly. Would love input if this is something you are interested in.

I am in my 50’s, my partner is 60 and our son is in his early 20’s and has ASD

Partner works from 7am weekdays. I work from home a good chunk of the time and our son is home most of the time, but rarely seen outside of his room lol

We are generally pretty quiet and chill and would like someone who also have that vibe.
