Looking for a female roommate for a furnished new condominium at a prime location, with high speed internet, utilities and a storage locker, available starting Jan 19th. If the posting is up, it is available.

Location: • 5-minute walk to Burquitlam Skytrain Station, Safeway, a variety of restaurants, cafes, shops, and the newly constructed YMCA Bettie Allard Community Centre with an olympic pool, hot tub, and full gym • Easy transit access to SFU (17 minutes) and Vancouver downtown core (40 minutes) • The unit is in a convenient and rapidly developing location while within a quiet and safe residential area • Within a 10 minute drive to Lougheed Town Centre, Korea Town Centre, Costco Wholesale (Brighton), T&T (Woolridge), Mundy Park, Burnaby Mountain Park, Barnet Marine Park and Rocky Point Park

Space: • Fully furnished with the consultation of an interior designer • Roommate will have one bedroom complete with a bed, mattress, electric heating, air-conditioner, closet, storage, side tables/shelves, work desk, reading lamp, ergonomic chair, and private bathroom with soaker tub • Lots of natural light • 9 ft ceilings • Soundproofing technology • Shared dining area and living room includes a foldable butterfly dining table that sits 4-6 people and a convertible sleeper couch and a flex work space with ergonomic chair • Kitchen has ample storage and new appliances: gas stove with vent, oven, dishwasher, air fryer/ toaster, microwave oven and fridge • Large capacity washing machine and dryer within unit • Outside, includes a large personal patio and garden area with a dining set, rotating umbrella, propane fire pit, and high-end grill • Ground unit with easy street access and exit

Building: • Amenities: fitness centre, yoga studio, stretch room, meeting room, party lounge with wi-fi, shared garden space, and an elevated BBQ deck w/ outdoor dining areas and a beautiful view of Burnaby Mountain • 6x2 ft storage locker for roommate’s use • Secured parking and bike racks are available for an extra fee

1. The monthly rent is $1595, all inclusive of utilities*, high speed internet**, furnishings, and storage locker
2. Secure underground parking and bike racks available separately for $199 per month
3. Damage deposit of $795 is required
4. For one roommate only
5. No pets
6. No smoking of any form
7. Good hygiene required and the shared space is scent-free for health reasons

Note: *Anything above $100/month for electricity will be split between the two of us. During the coldest point in winter the unit, fully occupied, consumes $75/mo; **High speed internet is enough to allow both roommates to work from home and stream shows or music. It may not be able to accommodate heavy gaming or livestreaming.

As for myself, I have a hybrid working arrangement in marketing and design. Outside of work, I like to go out with family and friends, make art, be in nature and read. I am quiet, very considerate of others and keep the home clean.
