Hi everyone! My roommate is moving out and I am looking for a young professional/ older student to join the lease! Below is a bit more about the place and what you’d get:

A beautiful BRAND NEW (seriously brand new, building was just build this year) fully furnished two bedroom apartment in trendy Hintonburg! steps away from the Parkdale market and morning owl coffee, 3 minutes walk to the bus stop and 7 minutes walk to Tunney’s Pasture station. The unit comes fully furnished, and the bedroom comes furnished with a stunning brand new queen bed and nighstand (though if you prefer unfurnished that can be arranged). Bedroom has a large closet for all your fashion needs. Unit comes with in suite washer dryer, dishwasher, all appliances, large bathroom with rainfall showerhead, and huge balcony overlooking beautiful trees for great privacy. Has Central AC and all systems are energy efficient. Living area is spacious with two couches, huge kitchen, and amazing windows that let in tons of light. I’ve been living here since September and loving every minute of it.

Neighbourhood offers amazing shops, boutiques, restaurants, amenities, and access to events, including the Parkdale night market which takes place right outside the front door Wednesday nights all summer and fall long!

Rent is $1250 a month, plus half of the hydro bill which is usually about $30-40 each. We can also share internet which is about $35 each for a total utility cost of approx $70 a month. The bedroom you would rent is the smaller of the two so the rent is lower than I pay.

I am a full time Masters student also working a full time job in politics so I’m a very busy woman who appreciates peace, mutual respect, and a clean and quiet space to live in. Cleanliness is important to me so if you also align with these values I think we’d be a great fit! I am an LGBTQ woman and would ideally love to find a LGBTQ roommate, but what’s most important is that my roommate is accepting and kind. I also have one cat, so you have to be ok with cats, and I’d be open to someone with one (max) more cat. The apartment is smoke free, but I am 420 friendly in non-smoking methods.
