About the room
3 bedroom 1.5 bathroom house in downtown Kamloops, its quite a large house for the rent we pay. There is a large backyard with garden beds we are allowed/encouraged to use. There is in-suite laundry and we have a fully stocked kitchen with most any tool you could need. Our landlords live next door and are some of the nicest people I have ever met. It’s a really safe area of town and the community is really very nice. There is a park nearby, the hospital is less than 5 minutes away, and TRU is like a 10 minute drive. There are bus stops nearby, I don’t use the bus often but I have had a few roommates that successfully used the bus the whole time they lived here.
About the roomies
We are two female TRU students. I am a full time social work student, and I spend most of my free time in my room. I have a very small hypoallergenic dog, her name is Addy and she loves cuddles and attention. She is super friendly and playful, and is not even remotely aggressive if that is a concern for you. My roommate is currently working on a psychology degree, and planning to go into law school. She also works as a server on the weekends. She is social in the house but respects any boundaries you voice right away. She also has a medium sized dog named Macey, she doesn’t live with us at the moment, but that could change so there is a possibility of two dogs living in the house with us. She is adorable and wants all of the love so prepare for lots of dog cuddles if you were to move in.
