$780 - Room in the Beaches

We’re looking for a new roommate for roughly 6 months. There may be a possibility to stay beyond 6 months but this isn’t certain at the moment.

The location is a very nice spot in the Beaches. We have a view of the lake from the living room and the available bedroom also has a view of the lake. The building is in front of the Balmy Beach club, boardwalk and lake.

We’re two minutes from Queen Street. There is a streetcar stop at the corner. The nearest grocery store is about a 5 minute walk.

The available room will have a bedframe and a used mattress although are happy to get rid of the frame and matress for someone bringing their own. The room has a closet with a shelf.

There is also the potential to rent out our underground parking space which we don’t use. This would be an additional $100.

The photos show the room with one of our current roommates belongings. All of this will be gone aside from the bed.

There are two bathrooms, one with a shower. We also have a free laundry machine and a dryer in the basement.

The common area is reasonably sized; a living room, dining room and a small kitchen. We’re not looking for any pets.

One shelf on the fridge will be available, as well as cupboard space in the kitchen.

The room is $780 with all bills included. We’re also asking for first and last up front, available Apr 15th.

It’s a household of 2 males and 1 female of mixed ages- 20s and 40s. We’re looking for someone who will fit into the house well. It’s not a party house and we’d like someone that cleans up after themselves and helps out with chores around the house.

One of us is attending York University and we are all working, some waking up very early, so we’re hoping to maintain a quiet house in the evenings.
