Looking for ideally a female roommate (or 🏳️‍🌈) or to take over the second bedroom in a basement suite. As there are animals in the suite, I am looking for someone that does not have a lot of folks visiting the suite due to our pup being a barker, it would be a challenge having new visitors frequently with her.

A deposit and first months rent will be required.

A bit about the room:

The other bedroom is rented out by me; with a shared bathroom. There is a TV room as a third room space available for use. You are essentially renting out a 3 room basement with 1 bathroom.

The kitchen has a large space, with a dining table. You will have access to almost all of the spaces, with the square feet of the whole area being around 1,000 square feet.

The rent for the entire unit is $2600, and I’m looking to find a roommate for the larger room. The room will be available for 1300$ a month. You will be paying the owner above directly, as we would be responsible for our portion of rent.

Utilities included. Bedroom will be furnished. The space comes with pots and pans, and some dishes if you don’t have some already. The unit is fully furnished, with many lightly used furnishings. Present not furnished- photos will be uploaded once the room is cleaned and ready.

Please note: non-negotiable. I am not able to take on folks with pets. I presently have a 2 year old dog and a 6 month old kitten, and that’s as much as the basement can take on. You must be comfortable living with animals.

I’m a working woman in my late 20s with 2 pets, I often work weekdays, a standard schedule day schedule. I am a mixture of a home body and will go out on weekends from time to time. I recently got out of a long term relationship and looking to rent out the second space.

I do not tend to have folks over often. I’m very quiet and to myself, but I enjoy spending time in the TV room with my pets.

My pets enjoy human company. The ideal roommate would be open to having a positive relationship with the other two residents in our home :)
