About the roomies
I am Jacob, 31, queer, a Community Worker at a Housing Support Service and a student in Social Work. I have a beautiful dog named Athena (pictured). I support and participate in community efforts such as the Friends for Life Bike Rally and Forte Men’s Chorus. I am open to new languages. Love film. I cycle (frequently), ski, skate, run, hike, climb, dance, gym. Love the beaches, parks, camping, and all forms of travel/outdoors. I am exceptionally spiritual, often practicing meditation, yoga, law of attraction, and following many other varied teachings (absolute win if you are too!). I am radically progressive, grounded in compassionate collectivism and person-centered empowerment. I am a person who is neurodivergent/ADHD, healing complex trauma and partaking in the work this entails. I strive for radical kindness, benevolence and compassion. I am constantly seeking means to create connections and improve the collective experience. I am a person who embraces my expression, reflection, and every experience, and I am growing more so each day. I challenge the mundane and strive to live with transparency and authenticity. Not a people pleaser and have a strong and grounded approach to conflict resolution.
In astrology, I am a Virgo, Capricorn, Virgo. In Human Design, I am a 6/2 Splenic Projector (If you don’t know, ask me about this. It will help us understand how likely that we’re a match, and is incredibly important to me).
I strive to keep a clean place, although I can be a bit messy. I ensure bills are covered. I love to cook and share meals. I sometimes host friends. I enjoy spending time with those I am around and would appreciate having a roommate who is considerably open and social, but I am also a hermit at times and absolutely appreciate my space.
