About the room
Subletting a spacious master bedroom with a private in-suite bathroom in a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment, available from February 1, 2025. The current lease runs until the end of September 2025, after which it transitions to a month-to-month agreement. Super close to uottawa, byward market and Rideau subway staion and mall. I am offering this sublet due to my upcoming relocation.
This is a new, fully furnished corner unit located on the 19th floor, allowing abundant natural light and offering modern amenities such as in-suite laundry, a contemporary kitchen with new appliances, and central air conditioning. The apartment is managed by Claridge and includes access to an indoor swimming pool, a well-equipped gym, and a penthouse community room. Security is on-site, both at the front entrance and in the parking garage, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. There is also a secure mailroom (Snail mailboxes), and a brand-new Metro grocery store directly beneath the building, accessible by elevator. For short-term visits, you can use the grocery store’s parking facilities. On-site resident parking is available at an additional cost.
The furnishings available in the bedroom—such as a desk, chair, queen bed frame, side table, and blinds—can be yours at a negotiable price, or I can remove them entirely if you prefer an unfurnished space. Your share of the monthly rent is $1,340, which is half of the total cost, and you would also split internet and hydro expenses, usually around $60 to $70 per month. A deposit for the last month’s rent will be required upon signing, and the subletting process will be handled by the property manager and myself to ensure a smooth and professional transition.
About the roomies
You would be sharing the apartment with a respectful, clean, and communicative male professional in his mid-twenties who works afternoon shifts five to six times a week. Thanks to his schedule, you’ll enjoy having the entire unit mostly to yourself throughout afternoons and evenings, making it ideal for students or working professionals in their twenties or thirties.
