The condo: it’s a beautiful and bright 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo facing West on a high floor. The balcony is not shared and is one of the biggest in the area. You get a full 180 view – South to the island airport perfect for watching planes take off and watching the Gardiner traffic from afar. West to see the storms rolling in, and North to view the trains, the cityscape, and catch the sunset. We have Beanfield internet hardwired into the building at a speed of 2GB. Yes, you read that right. It’s been amazing and super reliable. The neighbours are also friendly and quiet and to be fair, I barely hear them whether I’m inside or outside. We also have a grocery store attached to the building that is accessible without ever going outside. Super handy on those bad weather days!
Laundry is in the unit.
TTC is at the door, Union Station, the lake, King St nightlife, Scotiabank arena are all a short walk away. Rogers Centre is across the street and in the summer, when the roof is open, you can hear the homerun horn before they show it on TV!!
There are 3 banks in the area, lots of dining options, Loblaws is 2 blocks away, Longos is across from Scotiabank arena, and there are 2 liquor stores within walking distance. The grocery store also sells beer, wine, and cider. The Well is recently opened so there are more options.
We have a 2-level fitness centre, 25M pool, hot tub, billiards room, karaoke room, and party room. There is a large patio and sundeck along with a grassy area on the 2nd floor that is accessible to all residents.
About Me: I work mostly evenings so I’m home throughout the day. I love to cook/bake and do so often. I enjoy a glass of wine especially on the balcony. I don’t smoke or have parties but I do yell at the TV when I watch sports. I like to keep a clean home. For the most part I’m not home as I’ll be working and sometimes I go away for a few days here and there.
About you: friendly, clean, and sociable. I am fine either way if you want to socialize or keep to yourself. Your space is your own.
The room is fully furnished with a double bed, large closet and lots of storage. You share the main bathroom with the other female roommate. I have my own bathroom. The other spaces – kitchen, living room, balcony – are shared.
It is very comfortable, clean and quiet here and I hope you’ll love it as much as I do.
Rent is paid monthly. I ask first, last, and a refundable key/fob deposit. We have a secure building so you’ll need the fob to access pretty much everything – front door, elevator, and amenities level.
The building requires a 1-year lease and after that you can stay on month to month.
