Hey everyone!

I’m looking for a roommate for sometime between Dec 15 - Jan 1st. Rent would be $900 and there’s free outdoor parking. It’s a 2bed 3 bath 2level apartment with a wood burning fireplace, hottub, pool, gym, and tennis court. There’s free parking right out front. The room could be potentially furnished as my current roommate is moving back to Amsterdam and looking to get rid of furniture. It’s in Patterson right on edworthy park. 2 of the bathrooms are half baths and then there’s one bathroom with a shower and tub that would mostly be yours but shared for shower purposes. I’m a 24yo student at the UofC, I’d love to find a similar aged female roommate who I could be friends with. In terms of transit it’s really close to the blue line (20min walk, 7min bus) and to get to the UofC I think it’s a 12min drive or you can park and walk through Edworthy park and it’s a really pretty ~35-40min commute. I don’t have many pics of the inside but it’s open to below on the second floor and feels really cabiny. Apparently these condos were built in the 80s for the Olympic village (don’t quote me on that) so there are a bunch of evergreens and it feels like you’re in the mountains which I love.

This will be done as a sublet which will be signed off by the landlord — I don’t get access until the 15th of December so you can’t come look until then, but if you want to meet up to see if we’d be a good fit as roommates before then that would be great! Also sorry the pictures aren’t great I took these off my laptop and forgot to save them before it was taken off rentfaster after I’d signed the lease. It’s a bilevel unit with the second level being open to below with a huge like 15ft wall of windows. It reminds me of a little ski chalet and has a wood burning fireplace. There is secure entrance to the front door through the building up one set of stairs, but since it’s built on a hill the patio is also a walkout with plenty of green space outside.

Im a 24yo UofC student studying comp sci and have a previous psych degree. In my free time I’m usually at my studio; I have a small furniture and decor business. I like to keep a cozy and clean house. My interior style is kind of a cross between mcm and Scandinavian with a little color? I get along best with roommates who are straight forward about the little things that annoy them (everyone has their things) and who are friendly but don’t bring the party home. I don’t really drink, but I am a casual gardener🍃. I also love hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter.
