It is a two bedroom, 1 bathroom basement suite. The room and the rest of the house is fully furnished with shared laundry with the people upstairs, a large shared backyard and street parking. It is located near Lougheed and Alderson, close to the highway for driving and the bus, and only a 20 minute walk to Lougheed skytrain station. Rent includes all utilities and internet. Ideal move in date is December 1st but there is some flexibility. Room will be updated with more furniture this week and photos will be updated shortly. About you: I am looking for someone who is respectful and has good communication. It’s a plus if you have experience living with roommates. Definitely not mandatory but it would be ideal if you worked or went to school during the week days as I do work from home. You must be pet friendly!! My dog and cat mean a lot to me so whoever lives with us needs to understand aspects of living with animals (I.e not leaving the front door open for my cat to escape, occasionally having my dog bark - she in not yappy but sometimes barks at new noises). Someone who is friendly, but also understands the need for alone time in the home. Someone who is respectful of my things and our home and who takes care of their own space.

You would be sharing the suite with myself (30 year old female), my dog (4 year old border collie mix), and my cat (2 year old orange fluffball). I work full time from home for a small landscape company as the CFO and designer. In my free time I like to go on walks with my dog, cook, play video games and boardgames, and spend time with family and friends (although I rarely have visitors to the house). I value mental health and communication, and prioritize comfort, positivity and inclusiveness in the home.
