Looking for a roommate for a newly-built 2 bed 2 bath laneway house in Victoria-Fraserview neighborhood. Please read the entire listing before you message me!

Looking for someone to move in on Dec 1st but we can discuss about moving in earlier if you want to.

About the house:

-It’s a South and East facing laneway house built in 2022

-Tons of natural light

-All appliances are new and working - Dishwasher, Stove, Oven, Fridge, Samsung Washer and Dryer

-Rent includes Internet (wifi and cable) and water. Hydro will be split 50/50. (We have our separate BC Hydro account for the laneway house)

-Landlord is pretty nice. Very respectful of privacy. Responds fast to maintenance requests

-You’ll have the 1st floor bathroom just for yourself

-There are plenty of street parking spaces (no need for permit)

• No pets as per landlord’s request :(

About the neighborhood:

• The area is quiet and peaceful. There is a park nearby, and the Killarney Community Centre, which has a swimming pool, ice rink, and gym, is close by.
• Fraserview Golf Course is also nearby.
• Victoria Drive has convenient amenities like London Drugs, McDonald’s, Starbucks, Tim Hortons, Chinese grocery stores, and 88 Supermarket.

I’m a 28 yo male. I work as a language interpreter and part time as a server. I moved to Vancouver in March and I’m still getting to know the place. I’m ethnically Korean but grew up in China going to international schools.

I try to stay active in my free time but it’s so hard to stop watching Youtube😂 I love cooking, both for myself and for friends. I’ve been told that I make damn good pasta. I’m super into tech and trying to transition to that field of work. I also love movies and used to work in films back in Korea.

I’m ok with having friends/partner over occasionally. As long as it’s before bedtime and not too loud.
