Seeking a Female Roommate - Working Professional
Move in: February 1, 2025
Lease Terms: The lease is on a month to month basis, and requires 60 days notice for cancellation
Payment Schedule and Deposit:
- ASAP: First month and last month’s rent ($900 x 2) would be required as an initial deposit to “confirm your spot”
- The $900 from your deposit will apply to February rent, and the other $900 is kept by the landlord and applied to your last month’s rent
- Monthly payments will be required on the 1st of each month from there on out
Your Space: The room in the first photo would be your own individual room! It is unfurnished, and it fits a double/queen size bed easily with a large closet.
Bathrooms: The upper floor has a shared full bathroom with shower/bath and we share the storage space in the vanity and hall closet.
Shared Spaces: Kitchen & Living Room & Basement We have been living here for 2 years now and the house is fully furnished. You would be welcome to use the basics we already have at the house (living room furniture, cutlery, utensils, appliances) and would have some space for your own things in the shared area and basement for some storage.
Parking:
- There are 3 parking spots available (1 in garage and 2 outdoors). We keep a group chat and communicate about parking to coordinate leaving/coming home from work and other places.
About the roomies
Why are we looking for a roommate? Three of us have been living here for 2 years now, but one of our roommates is moving out after buying a house with her partner! The two of us (Maddie & Jenna) are looking for a third roommate to take over 1/3 of the lease at the townhouse.
About us: We are working professionals with a 9-5 hybrid work schedule during the week. On week nights, we tend to cook, watch TV together (especially any reality TV lol), go to the gym, or play sports. On the weekends, we like to hang out with family and friends, and occasionally host get togethers at our place. We are both pretty social and like spending time together, but also enjoy our independence/space (especially when things are busy at work or in our personal lives). You would be welcome to join us for TV time, gym, girls nights, etc!
What are we looking for in a roommate?
- A female, working professional
- Would prefer someone with a similar schedule
- Respectful and clean (keeps shared counter spaces clean/clear)
