Offering one room on first floor of a house from December 1 to April 30. You will be sharing the unit with me. The house includes front porch and backyard; the unit has two bedrooms (one room already occupied by me), one washroom, kitchen and living room. Washer and dryer available in the basement of the house for no cost. The room can come furnished/unfurnished depending on your choice. RENT: $1250/month + $20 for house insurance UTILITIES: separate but usually between an extra $30-$70 depending on the usage. LOCATION: Thirty Ninth Street, Etobicoke (walking distance from Long Branch Go Station). Easy access to GO train, streetcars and buses. Perfect location if you are a Humber College student, or if you commute downtown for work, as the train will take you to Union station in 25 minutes. DATE AVAILABLE: Dec. 1st, 2024 TERM: 5 months until April 30, 2025 ACCESSIBILITY INFO: You have to take one set of stairs to reach the unit The unit is not wheelchair accessible. RULES: No smoking inside or within certain distance from the house. No cats cuz I’m sadly allergic to them:(((

CONTEXT/ INFORMATION/ RELATIONSHIP TO THE UNIT: Me and my friend have been leasing this unit since 2023 when we were attending college. After we finished school this year, we decided to stay on as we absolutely love this space. My friend is subletting his room as he will be travelling for a few months and we don’t want to give up this space. The landlady is super friendly and helpful. The house is at a 8 minute streetcar ride to Humber College-Lakeshore Campus. The house is situated at few minutes walk to many modes of transportations including buses, streetcars, and the long branch go station (which provides easy access to both eastern and western lakeshore lines)- downtown toronto & mississauga/Oakville. There are pharmacies (shoppers & rexall), no frills, dollarama, LCBO and many other restaurants within convenient walking distance. My favourite part of this location are the beach and the trails which is within a few minutes of walking distance; ideal for anyone who wants some time to recharge near the water or take a walk or run in the trails.

QUEER SAFETY & FLATMATE DETAILS: We are two queer people and the apartment reflects that. You will be sharing the common areas with me. I’m looking for someone who is clean, respectful, not super loud and friendly! Ideally looking for another queer rommate, but I’m open to anyone I vibe with and I’m sure we’ll have a good time together! We don’t tolerate any type of hate or discrimination towards anybody.
