1 room available in a lovely shared 2 bedroom home (900 sqft)! It’s part of an antique building and there are a couple units attached to this one, but we don’t need to share our space with them or anything. There is a shared patio outdoors though, and the entire building has fencing around it. The building is also newly renovated, with hardwood and tile throughout, so it’s in great condition. Kitchen is spacious and has a fridge, oven, and most utilities (microwave, toaster, etc.). There’s a spacious living room by the main entrance to the building, which gets lots of sunshine. Rear entrance by second bedroom and one 5-piece washroom including a bath, shower, toilet, and a bidet. Opportunity to sign on to lease Deposit covers last month’s rent

Unit is pet-friendly, but I already have a dog. I’m potentially open to having other animals in the house, but only if they get along with my dog (sadly no cats). Smoking not permitted in unit.

I am a graduate student at the University of Toronto, looking for a responsible roommate to share this space with me and my dog. My schedule is pretty busy, so I’ll be spending a fair bit of time to myself or working on my research. That being said, I’d love to create a friendly, welcoming home and work together to build a positive roommate dynamic. In my free time, I like to read, cycle, and cook. I’m more than happy to share meals with roommates as well. It’s important to me that we have an open and honest relationship, and are able to problem-solve maturely and proactively. I also value cleanliness and a fair distribution of responsibilities, so I’d like to set up a chore calendar or other way to coordinate that.
