Available for short or long-term periods. Comfortable furnished room for rent in a newly updated home in a great neighbourhood. The private room is fully furnished with a queen sized bed. The home environment is relaxed and peaceful. It’s within walking distance to Okanagan College, Grocery Stores, KGH Hospital, Okanagan Lake, Ethel Street Bike Corridor and a 5 minute walk to the public transit lines that will take you to UBC-O, Orchard Park Mall and Downtown. The house is bright and spacious and has good vibes. The kitchen is well stocked with lots of gadgets and appliances. You’d have semi-private use of the second bathroom (which might be used for visitors when they’re over). Private parking is provided and there’s storage for a bike and/or winter sports equipment. There’s a hot tub going year round, central air-conditioning when it gets hot and I have a professional cleaner who comes every 2 weeks. Rent includes water, cable, internet, gas, electricity and bi-weekly cleanings. If you want towels, bedding, and household sundries included too (toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, dishwashing detergent, laundry soap, garbage bags etc) then the rent would be $45/month more).

I’m a mature, easy to get along with person. I’m a dental hygienist and a yoga teacher/therapist. I love being outdoors, travelling, plants, animals, reading and cooking. I’m passionate about learning, health and making the world a better place. I enjoy a balance of home time and being out. I like good conversation and also okay with less conversation as I know sometimes home is a place we need to retreat from the stimulation and extroversions of life. You’d also be rooming with 2 shy but sweet cats so being ok with cats is a must! I have great references from previous roommates and tenants.
