About the room
Homestay accommodation style. It’s a fully furnished bedroom with queen, bed, bedsheets, blanket, dresser, desk, rug, chair and lamps. It’s located on the upper floor easy access to the bathroom, which is next-door to the room and shared by the other students as well. Big backyard access to hanging out in the backyard. Quiet neighborhood surrounded by some micro parks near bus stops in walking distance as well as the promenade mall, no-frills Walmart at 45 heading stone, Shoppers Drug Mart TD bank Royal Bank CIBC bank Scotiabank.
About the roomies
My parents and I have done homestay for nearly 25 years. We have two vacant rooms that we usually have for international students. It would be a minimum contract of six months and maximum of a year. This is a fully furnished place so no Additional furniture is allowed. This includes three meals a day (no extra) With a coffee, tea and a cold beverage of water or juice, possibly pop. Additional meals and beverages would need to be supplied by the person. Utilities are included as well as Internet. The bathroom is a 4pc And is shared with one other person from the other bedroom. I live in the basement and have my own washroom and my parents are in the primary bedroom with their own washroom. Laundry is to be done once a week and cleaning g of the room and bathroom. Toiletries are not included. The only thing included would be toilet paper bedsheets and blankets are included with pillows perfect for a student that just wants to study and focus on studying and not worry about additional groceries. It’s a beautiful quiet neighborhood with the bus routes nearby in walking distance. Two minute walk to the bus for the number 77 bus that goes to either Finch station or Vaughan Metropolitan. And a seven minute walk to either the 105 bus that goes to Shephard West station. The number three bus that goes to the Pioneer Village station and also Don Mills and of course the Viva orange.
