Apartment and building info: There is only one washroom in this apartment and it is shared. We understand that this may be a drawback to some people but we strive our hardest to keep it as clean as possible. We are very serious about this as well as the rest of the apartment itself. As far as the rest of the home it is obviously shared but you do not need to “request” or “book” a time to use a shared space. We are against that sort of arrangement. This is your home just as much as it is ours. Please treat it as such! There is NO en suite laundry, there is a laundry room on the second floor and you will be provided with a laundry card. This building is located at 561 Sherbourne Street. The building is in the heart of beautiful downtown Toronto about 25 mins away from Dundas Square by walk. Conveniently there is a Line 2 TTC station 2 minutes away for all your commuting needs. The station is 2 stops away from St. George if you need to transfer to Line 1. There is also a FreshCo located directly downstairs for convenient grocery shopping, adjacent to it are multiple restaurants, wine rack, cell phone provider, and a Shoppers Drug Mart for your pharmacy needs.

Any other routines and house rules etc can be discussed in person if agreeded to move.

The amenities for this building include a gym, multipurpose terrace on the second floor with BBQs, a game room, party room, and more.

Hello everyone,

Introduction : My name is Anish (pronounced Nish) and you will be staying with me and my roommate Abdullah. This is a private bedroom with storage and a desk as well as a little moving room with direct access to a balcony with a spectacular view of downtown and sunsets.

A bit about Me and Abdullah’s lifestyle :

We are both roommates and university students in progress of completing our degrees. We are not punctual people. In other terms we are not pen and paper roommates. We will not be behind your back at the end of every month calculating what everyone used and what needs to be replaced and how much everyone owes etc. We do not live that way and quite frankly it is a pain to live that way. We share everything. If you need to use some of our food or anything of the sort please feel free! Again this doesn’t mean one person eats everything and leaves nothing for others, be mindful please.

We want you to be apart of this household. If dinner is made and you haven’t eaten or do not have the desire to cook, we will serve you a plate! We are extremely relaxed people who like to have fun and are very social. So if your a person looking for a quiet place to live where it is quiet all the time then this is NOT the place for you!!. This also doesn’t mean we are loud and play music all night, we have jobs and lives as well.

We are people who will have your back, if you need a favour or anything of the sort we will do it for you without expecting anything in return. We treat each other like brothers and we are there for one another. We do NOT want someone who will act as a stranger in the home. We are chill people to deal with, all we ask is that you use common sense for most things since there are no “rules”. If you want something done in the apartment in a certain way in terms of your liking then by all means let’s have a convo about it! Things don’t get solved without communication, again this is your home just as much as it is ours.
