The house newly built in 2021 is located in central Cedar, offset from Cedar Rd, with no close neighbours and a scenic backyard view of York Lake/Marsh as well as many birds. I am renting the second furnished bedroom of the ground floor suite shared with myself and my 8 year old Black Labrador, Stella. The wonderful landlords live upstairs and also have a golden doodle so there isn’t room for any more animals. VIU Campus and downtown Nanaimo are both only a 12 minute drive. The suite is cozy, bright, filled with many plants and very peaceful. The kitchen is fully equipped, all bills, utilities and internet are included and there is plenty of parking, however limited storage space. The house is on well water, that is completely safe to drink. No drugs or alcohol use is permitted on the property, personal use elsewhere however is a non-issue. This would be a great space for a mature student or working professional.

I am a 32 year old female, originally from Northern BC and have lived here for the past 3.5 years. I work at the Country Grocer located a 4 minute walk down the road and spend my free time knitting, cooking, reading, listening to podcasts, singing and heading into the forest with Stella. Stella is an absolutely lovely dog who lives for food and cuddles - but as a lab she does shed. I am open-minded, clean and respectful and am looking for a roommate with those same qualities.
