Hi, I’m looking for a roommate for my large and beautiful, top floor, corner unit condo, located in Langford for as early as October 1st or later.

It is 2 stories with 2 bedrooms, a den and one full bathroom (with shower/tub) upstairs. The entrance, half bathroom (w/o shower/tub), kitchen, living/dining room and balcony are on the main floor. The living/dining room are one open space so it is set up as one large living room. The balcony is huge, approx 10’x12’! Large kitchen with a dishwasher, washer and dryer. The condo is fully furnished except for your bedroom. Unfortunately there is no storage.

There is tons of natural light from the huge southeast and southwest windows. The unit is on the 3rd floor of an open concept condo building, meaning the hallways and lobby are outside - no buzzer needed! There are stairs on either end, as well as in the centre of the building. There is also an elevator in the centre of the building, where you will also find the mailboxes.

The $1150 rent amount does not include utilities. The Shaw bill is $56/mo each for high speed wifi and full cable, and BC Hydro is every two months and varies between approximately $100 (total, not each) in the warmer months to $250 in the cooler months. Please note, the heat in the winter tends to add up pretty quickly for some reason (probably those huge windows) so I don’t turn the heat on. A heated mattress cover or heated blanket can be extremely helpful at keeping hydro bills down. I also have a “Heat Dish” space heater which is extremely effective at providing direct heat so that’s nice to use while you’re in the living room. Parking in the parking lot is available for an additional cost but there’s LOTS of free parking nearby.

Hi, my name is Mandy. I’m 40yrs old but most of my friends are 5-10yrs younger than I am. I work full time in retail sales without a set schedule, however I work mostly mornings. I might be awkward when I first meet people but once I’m more comfortable with someone, I have an open and bubbly personality. I like to keep the space clean, but I’m not a crazy clean freak. I have have two cats; Coco is 14 and Bukashka is 1. Unfortunately you cannot bring a pet. Boo is very anxious due to some past trauma and Coco is old and cranky and still not even accepting of Boo.

I still like to go to the occasional events, especially music festivals but overall I am not a partier. In the warmer months I like to paddle board, hike (but just the easy ones for now 😅), have BBQs, go to the beach, etc. but you’re more likely to find me at home watching crime solving shows. In the cooler months, I’m mostly going to be found inside unless it’s for a “do it for the gram” photo op lol.
