The whole main floor is for the shared use of tenants. Airconditioning is included. Heat is provided by an-up-to-date boiler that distributes heat through the original radiator system. Laundry is free and available for the shared use of the co-habitants. A 1- metre x 1-metre square plot of land is available to each tenant (herb garden). Cleaning of the common areas is provided at no additional cost twice a month. Palmerston is a slow-moving one-way street with counter flow bicycle lanes. The street is extremely quiet and safe due to the bike lanes. A tree canopy of mature silver maples, more than one hundred years old, provides dense leafy shade to much of the boulevard. Your apartment is a 5-minute walk from dozens of College Street restaurants and bars. Harbord and Bloor are easily reached on foot.
About the roomies
This room would be suitable for a university student or young professional. The anchor tenant is a retired architect whose family grew up in this house. The house is LGBT-friendly. I would hope that your presence in the house would add to its friendliness.
