Looking for a friendly and easy going roommate. A good fit will be someone who has experience in living with others and is able to communicate well. The space is ideal for a mature student or working professional but not ideal for someone who works from home. The home is pretty relaxed and intended to be a place you can feel comfortable and as such it’s not a party house. Looking for someone who will treat the space and others in it with kindness and respect. I have good references with past tenants and roommates and ask that anyone applying can provide good work and rental references as well. Must be ok with cats as I have 2 shy girls.

The home is in a central location on Patterson Ave, 3 blocks from the beach, walking distance to shops, groceries, restaurants, KGH hospital and OK College. 5 minutes from downtown, 20 minutes from UBC-O and right beside the Ethel Street bicycle corridor and public transit. I love fresh air and often have the windows cracked unless it’s too hot or cold outside. The house simply furnished with a well stocked kitchen with lots of appliances and cookware. There are a number of areas to use besides your room including a workout area and outdoor patio and yard space. There is a newer foreman outdoor BBQ/grill that you can use but I don’t use it so you will need to supply your own propane and maintain it.

You’ll be rooming with me and potentially 1 other flatmate (haven’t found them yet). I’ve always been selective with who I have in the house as everyone’s comfort is important to me. I would rather find the right people than just anyone to fill the space. If another flatmate joins us it will be two of you sharing a bathroom. I have my own.

A bit about myself. I currently work as a dental hygienist and yoga therapist. I’ve been living the last 3 years in Mexico and started a healthy food business when I was there. I’m back for a while to visit family and friends and taking a plant and herbal medicine course. I’m pretty chill and quiet. I enjoy travelling, playing card and board games, reading, being out in nature and learning. I like the house tidy and clean but am not over the top about it. I consider myself easy to get along with and others agree. I value open and honest communication and enjoy interacting with others but also need some quiet time to myself when I’m at home.
