About the room
The room has a single bed, closet, drawers, a desk, lamp and chair. The kitchen is spacious with a gas range, refridgerator and freezer, as well as various appliances that are shared with everyone. The living is a shared area with a large bay window looking out to the front yard. Transcanada plaza is less than a 10 min walk away with a Save On Foods, Rexall, Gymvmt, Dollarama and many other stores.
About the roomies
Currently, there’s me, I own the house and I stay in the basement which is my own space but I do go up to cook and eat. There are two other roomies at the moment. One is a Japanese woman here on working holiday and the other is a Brazilian woman currently doing research at U of C. We’re all quite respectful of each other and hope our future roomie will be as well. I also raise a three year old cat her name is Ophie and is very friendly with people. Unfortunately, she is unable to be around other cats as she is highly susceptible to getting ill.
