The common space is tastefully furnished in midcentury-modern style. The apartment is on the second (top) floor of the building and has a private entrance vestibule.

Your bedroom is unfurnished, extremely quiet, and comfortably accommodates a queen size bed and dresser, and has a large closet and skylight.

Utilities and household supplies are split equally and are usually about $100/month. Occasional overnight guests are fine, but this is not a party apartment. There will possibly be a friendly (if grumpy) cat named Gareth moving in, so no other pets allowed.

There will be a simple roommmate agreement for us both to sign, and one month’s secuity deposit and the first month’s rent are due before moving in.

I’m Joshua, a lawyer, work long hours, and appreciate coming home to a clean and quiet apartment. Tidy, and don’t like clutter. Outside work, I enjoy cooking, cycling, and woodworking.

I am looking for a responsible working professional who works outside the home, preferably over 30, scrupulously clean, who can commit to a minimum of six months. (Bonus points if you too like cooking, wine, and reading.)
