Private Fully Furnished Bedroom in Fairfield - available from Sep 9, 2024 to Apr 30, 2025 (possibility for extension)

Ideally we are looking for someone that is out and about most of the day and seeks refuge in the evening.

The furnished bedroom is located on the second floor of a large single family heritage home on a small, quiet street in the very safe neighbourhood of Fairfield. A keyless entry lock has been added for your privacy and security. It has hardwood floors and faces west (back of house) and comes with a double bed and includes bedsheets, pillows and a duvet. There is also a comfy wing chair and desk/table, a 32“ TV, double closet, pine shelf/storage and bookshelf.

On the same floor, you will be sharing a dry kitchenette with one roommate. This room offers an eating/sitting area, an apartment sized fridge, hot plate w/double burner, microwave, toaster, countertop oven, kettle and single-serve coffee maker, pots & pans, utensils, dishes, glassware, cutlery and dishclothes. There is also a double closet for more storage. Across the hall from the kitchenette, a kitchen cabinet and sink has been installed in the main bathroom for your use.

The 3-piece bathroom on the main floor (shower only) will be shared with one roommate and our adult son.

Includes heat, hydro, water and internet and the use of a washing machine; we do not have a dryer. Your room is equippred with retractable clothesline or you can hang your clothes in the basement. Residential street parking only. No smoking, no vaping, no guests.

Exellent Location: Walking distance to Cook St Village, Dallas Rd, Beacon Hill Park & downtown. 20-min drive to UVIC, 9-min drive to RJH.

Four adults presently occupy this space; one works from home (owner), two work outside the home (roommate and adult son) and one is retired (owner), along with two cats and two miniature poodle/mixes - so we cannot accommodate any more pets!
