Two professionals in their 30s looking for an easy-going, responsible, and tidy third roommate in a charming fully furnished 3 story, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom townhouse in Armdale, south of the rotary. Queer, trans, and femme friendly. Room comes with an optional double bed, dresser, and shelves.

The open concept common space and kitchen on the shared main floor, includes a dishwasher, a gas fireplace, and a walkout patio. A flex space at the front of house can be used as office space (complete with desk and bureau), converted into yoga or gym space, or used as an additional living room. There is in-unit washer a dryer on the upper floor adjacent to the bedroom being rented out.

The house has lots of natural light throughout. It is located on a quiet street with access to driveway parking or year-round street parking at no cost.

The large backyard includes a fire pit and vegetable garden, backing onto a creek. It’s a great space for hangouts.

The house is within a 5-minute drive from the Halifax Shopping center and various grocery stores. It is a short walk to Long Lake Park and Chocolate Lake. Transit options are a short 1 minute walk to access bus routes 22 and 24.

$1250/month, utils + wifi incl. (personal tenant insurance extra, approx $45)

We’ve been here for 2 years, and rent is month to month. There’s also a possibility of lease takeover.
