Hi all, I have a bedroom available in my 2-bedroom apartment in Sandy Hill. The building is a 5-minute walk from uOttawa and Rideau St Loblaws, and 15 minutes to Byward Market. The room is available from August 2024 to May 2025 A bit about the apartment: it’s $776 per month + around $65 for expenses for August and September, but this will increase to $795 + $65 from October onwards. There is a parking spot available, but this will add about $100 onto the monthly rent. There is a laundry room in the building, the machines run using a card that can be reloaded easily online or in the laundry room. There is 1 other person living in the unit, and a sweet cat named Sam, who is a little skiddish but very funny and cuddly once she gets to know you. You will not be responsible for the costs related to taking care of the cat. The place does come with the furniture in the photos except for the bed and the computer monitors. There’s a long balcony that gets tons of sunlight in the day without overheating the apartment in the summer.

I am currently living in New Zealand, so you will be taking my room in the unit. You’ll be living with Noemie, a 3rd-year student at University of Ottawa. Noemie is from Mauritius and has been living in Canada for just over 2 years. Your other roommate is my cat, Sam (she’s sweet and a little dumb, but will mostly follow Noemie around).
