I’m a 40-year-old professional working full-time in health research and currently studying social work. In addition to my main work, I’m involved in community engagement projects outside of the province. As a queer, open-minded individual, I value maintaining our home as a sanctuary—a place where we can feel at peace and respected.

I believe in creating a sense of community within the home, where we care for and respect each other like family, while also maintaining each other’s privacy. We share basic kitchen essentials like spices, condiments, oil, and baking supplies, while making sure there’s space for each other’s individual groceries.

I’m away for work for the vast majority of the time, returning to Toronto for a few days every couple of months. During those times, I’m attending meetings around the city and am home to rest or better, have a house dinner :) This is an amazing, tight-knit community where we say hi to each other and look out for one another. I’m looking for a roommate who shares these values and can enjoy this peaceful, welcoming environment.
