Hello! I have recently updated my home with all new flooring and paint. There is a shared bathroom, kitchen, living room and laundry: I am hardly home so you will have these mostly to yourself.

When you enter, you’ll see it’s a bi-level layout: six stairs to the upper level with the living room, kitchen, and bath; six stairs to lower level with the bedrooms and laundry. Your quiet, private room with double bed faces south onto a quiet green space. Cool in summer, warm in winter.

There’s also an enclosed paved yard area and back deck for you to enjoy summer evenings and store your outdoor things. Maintenance of the front and side lawn is taken care of, and I take care of the garden beds and indoor plants.

It’s a five-minute walk to a bus stop and a ten-minute bus ride to Sunridge Mall and/or the Sunridge/Rundle C-train stop. Please note that I don’t have a TV in the house (I’m too busy studying and going to the gym/hiking/work), so you would need to install your own TV in your room if desired.

I am a professional woman in my 40s looking for a female roommate for the summer months and possibly throughout the fall and next year. I occasionally work from my home office, but am mostly away for work. I’m also a graduate student online in the evenings and weekends, and I go elsewhere to write, think, and study. So, this summer you will have the place mostly to yourself and probably won’t see much of me except for a day or two per week when I do laundry and cooking.
