Rent is $1800 a month, but split between us, so you would be paying $900. This room is the larger room of a two bedroom basement suite, located a 15 minute walk from Brentwood train station and about a 5 minute walk to the nearest bus stop. The suite includes a shared bathroom with a shower, a laundry room, a full kitchen with dishwasher included, and a fairly spacious living room area. There is full use of the backyard provided to tenants as well. We’re nice and close to the UofC and Market Mall, so all amenities are within walking/biking distance. There is free street parking available and all yard work/shoveling of the sidewalks in the winter is managed by the landlord, who lives upstairs above the suite.

There are three people in the house, my landlord Erik and his girlfriend Stephanie, and myself. Erik and Stephanie live upstairs and are both wonderful and relaxed people (who you’ll probably only occasionally see when they come downstairs to do their laundry in the shared machines). My name is Jaylyn, and I’m who you would be sharing the suite with! I’m a 22 year old female art student at AUArts and going into my second year studies. I’m quiet and relaxed, and a fairly introverted person. Before finalizing anything, we think it would be best to meet with any potential roommates so we can all get to know each other.
