Damien's room

We’re two trans/bi people looking for a third roommate to move in September 1st. We live in the lower level of a (3 bed 1 bath) house in Capitol Hill, Burnaby. We have an amazing view, and the neighbourhood is very safe. Rent is $1140/month, plus utilities every 3 months ($30-$100/person depending usage), and wifi ($40/month) *This is not a sublet, you will be responsible for signing for a 3rd of the 12 MONTH lease.

Your room: -can fit queen bed & desk with room to spare -small walk-in closet -2 windows -Closest room to bathroom & laundry room -Furthest room from our main door *you will share a wall with Damien

Conditions: *Will not be replying to inquiries from cis men -No smoking on property -No hard drugs, 420 friendly (not in the house) -No pets (we already have a cat)

Accessibility: *Our house has a LOT of accessibility issues -Front and back parking. Front parking is flat, back parking is on a very aggressive angle. -We live on a steep hill which IS walkable, but it’s not our favourite thing to do. -Hill is more difficult to drive/walk on in winter -Our door has a gate in front of it which is quite narrow and you have to step THROUGH it. -Our main door has a ledge you need to step over to get into the house -All bedrooms have a ledge to get into them -Dimensions of front gate: 2.5 ft. x 6.5ft -Dimensions of doorways: 2.5ft x 7ft -Dimensions of hallway: 3ft x 8ft

Bus Access: 132 - Takes you from Willingdon Safeway right to our back alley (last bus at 9:45pm) R5 - Takes you from the stop near our house to Downtown Vancouver or SFU 160 - Can take you into Port Moody/Coquitlam 129 - Takes you to Metrotown *Easy access to SFU or VFS

Who you’d be living with: Damien: 22 y/o bi indigenous trans man from AB, neurodivergent, introverted. Cat dad, artist, game dev, spends most of his time working or cooking. Freya: 32 y/o bi trans woman from NB, neurodivergent, introverted. Artist, game dev, spends most of her time working or gaming. Porthos: big 4 year old black INDOOR cat that never shuts up. Shy at first, but will instantly love you if you give him any attention at all.
