moving out of my current shared apartment and looking to sublet my spot! 2br/1 bath apartment in the exchange, next to RRC and very close to transit. no smoking building with a gym, parcel lockers, bike storage, rooftop patio and shares a building with a cute little mexican bakery. water and internet are included in the monthly rent, tenant pays hydro but it’s approximately $24 a month. it is a pet friendly building, so there is a bit of noise from the dog neighbours. parking is not included, but there is plenty of street parking, and there are options for nearby surface or underground lots for $100-$160 a month.

the apartment itself is in the basement so it does not have windows, but is very bright and quiet with a full sprinkler system if there ever is a fire. on the plus side, that means no noise from traffic or passersby on the street! the building completed construction in ‘21 so the fixtures and appliances are all very new. the landlord is also very responsive and the few issues we have encountered with the unit have been addressed very quickly.

overall a great little spot! i’m only leaving to buy a house to live with and take care of my retired mother.

your prospective roomie works fulltime during the day, and mostly keeps to herself when home. no pets are in the unit, but she is welcome to any prospective animals. clean, responsible and friendly!
