Peter's room

We have a bedroom available for rent in a four bedroom two bath home located downtown Guelph. The room will be unfurnished but we can provide a bed and some other pieces as needed (free of charge). The room features a good closet with shelves and hanging space, a big bright window with new blinds, original hardwood floors and baseboards, tall ceilings, a new ceiling fan, and more!

The home features central AC, wifi, a fully equipped updated large kitchen (including an extra full size fridge and box freezer in the basement), two washrooms (one with a tub shower combo and the other a standup shower), a quaint daybed/reading area, a 70’s inspired rec room with a desk area, a good sized living room with a pullout couch for guests, a casual dining room with seating for 6+ people, a newly updated back mudroom and backyard, a large laundry room with two washing machines/one dryer, dedicated tenant storage in the basement, a bike rack, planter boxes for gardening (if you are into that), a covered front porch, and more!

The home is located on the edge of downtown Guelph (very close to Speedy Muffler/five point intersection). It is a short walking distance to the main bus terminal (the home is directly on the main 99 bus line with many stops close by), two parks, the speed river, a ton of cute shops, amazing restaurants/bars etc.

Things to note:

• no pets allowed
• no smoking/vaping indoors (there is a covered front porch or the backyard if required)
• all house daily chores are shared equally amongst everyone
• we do pay for a cleaner to come roughly once a month (as needed) for deeper cleanings/ maintenance
• we do not currently pay for cable television
• we do not offer parking (you can park on street if needed - message if you have questions)
• it is a semi duplex home so we are looking for someone who will respect our neighbours and not be crazy loud at night etc.

All young professionals/late year students live here currently. Mid/Late twenties. We try to foster a fun, respectful, relaxing, chill environment.

Two down-to-earth mid/late twenties brothers own the property and you will be living with one of the brothers and two other awesome folks (four total in the home)
