Seeking a roommate to take one bedroom in a two-bedroom two-storey walk-up condo. Non-males preferred.

Available June 1st but can consider July move in too.

• Unit has central AC, dishwasher and in-unit laundry, plus large east-facing windows.
• Bedroom comes with some shelving if desired (see pics) but is otherwise unfurnished. Shared spaces are fully furnished as pictured.
• Full bathroom on top floor and half bath on main floor. Nobody above us.
• Condo grounds have gated entry and include a shared patio and BBQs.
• Bus stop is across the street and the heart of the Byward market is less than a 10 minute walk away.
• Price includes internet. Other utilities (gas and hydro) are about $60-$75 per month.
• Street parking permit available from the city.
• Parking garage has some limited space for personal storage and bicycle parking.
• Common kitchen appliances, dishes and cookware all available to share.
• Wii and karaoke machine on site…
• No smoking inside.

I am a young female professional in graduate studies in public and international affairs. I love hiking, karaoke, and playing with my cat. I enjoy hanging out and going dancing or shopping with my roommates, but I also understand if you prefer to keep to yourself. I prefer to handle conflicts in a direct but kind way. I host friends and family on the futon once in a while and welcome my roommate to do the same. I’m vegetarian (but don’t care what you eat) and I smoke weed on weekends (but never inside). I’d say my housekeeping habits are ‘tidy, but not immaculate,’ and I value relative quiet from 11 pm to 7 am on weeknights. Lets chat and see if the fit is right!
