I am a current PhD student and I have a furnished room for rent in a spacious and well-maintained house downtown. The fully furnished house is extremely close to the University of Winnipeg and the rapid transit line to the University of Manitoba (2 min walk to the stop and then one bus to U of M ~20min, buses come every 5 minutes in the morning, 10 minute walk to U of W) and several grocery stores (~5 min walk), street parking is available. Large furnished common areas including dining room, living room with television, fully equipped kitchen with convection oven, fridge, air frier, rice cooker, and microwave, bathroom has both a claw foot tub as well as a separate shower. Common area has treadmill, exercise bike, free weights and other exercise equiptment. Bedrooms have been renovated and painted. On site laundry and storage, hi-speed internet, streaming services on common room TV, clean and quiet environment, must be comfortable living with 2 friendly cats and 2 small non shedding hypo-allergenic dogs. The room, on the second floor, is $800.00, and includes utilities and internet. The furnished room comes with dresser, desk, chair, as well as a full size bed with bedding.
