About the room
Coming soon! A huge room in a 2-bed garden suite between Main/Fraser, across from Le Marché St. George Café. The contract spans from December 1st, 2024 to August 1, 2025. $900/month (includes internet. +$30 utilities in the cold months. Contract can be extended!).
The Logistics: The photos tell most of the story (the last 5 are just photos of the neighbourhood!) but I’ll add that I’m ideally looking for the following:
- Someone Clean!!
- Someone who can clearly, constructively, and openly communicate.
- I practice stoßlüften is very important so I am looking for someone comfortable with the windows consistently open in the summer.
The Landlord’s Needs:
- No pets 😢.
- No parties or loud music.
- No Smokers
The Neighbourhood: The house is between four grade schools so there are mostly quiet family homes around here. It’s near a couple iconic vegan restaurants on Main St. as well as some cheap and delicious sushi, cool thrift stores, Queen Elizabeth Park, and Asian restaurants on Fraser (plus a Michelin Star restaurant and a JJ Bean at the end of the block).
The house is between No Frills and Nesters Market so, if you don’t spend all your money on the abundant surrounding restaurants, there are plenty of options for groceries.
The café across the street is amazing and has plenty of options for every diet besides GF.
