One furnished bedroom for rent in a townhouse.

Available as of September 1, 2024 (can be slightly earlier if needed).

The townhouse is shared with the homeowners (a couple) and two cats.

Looking for someone who is clean, quiet, mature, friendly, and respectful.

No smoking, parties, or drug use. No overnight guests. Single occupancy (1 person) only.

Suitable for students and working professionals. Not suitable for those who work mostly from home.

First and last months’ rent and checks (references and pay stubs or bank statements) are required prior to the move-in date.

ABOUT THE ROOM:

• Rent is $950 per month.

• Utilities and Internet are extra (not included in the rent).

• The furnished bedroom is located on the second floor. Bedding, pillows, and towels available if needed.

• The private bedroom comes with a private bathroom and a furnished living area on the second floor.

• Office space can be shared occasionally if needed, also on the second floor.

• Washer and dryer are available in the basement.

• Shared entry area, kitchen area, and living room on the first floor.

ABOUT THE LOCATION:

• The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and consists mostly of families.

• The closest major intersections are Keele & Wilson and Keele & Sheppard.

• Within a short walking distance to Downsview Park and the Stanley Greene community park that has tennis and basketball courts and an outdoor gym.

• Running and biking paths are available throughout the neighborhood.

• One bus to multiple subway stations (including the GO Train):

Typically a 10 minute bus ride to Downsview Park Subway Station and GO Train Station, or 15 minutes to Wilson Subway Station, or 20 minutes to Finch West Subway Station (times are estimated).

Bus stop to Downsview Park and Wilson Subway Stations is located around the corner.

• Close to York University and Centennial College Downsview Campus. Direct subway connection from Downsview Park / Wilson / Finch West station to St. George station (where the University of Toronto’s (U of T) St. George campus is located) – no need to transfer trains.

• For groceries, there are Asian grocery stores and Metro within walking distance or one bus ride.

• For banks, there are CIBC, RBC, and TD Bank branches within walking distance or one bus ride.

• Many restaurants nearby, including Tim Hortons, Chatime, A&W, Pizza Pizza, Popeyes, and Subway.

• Street parking is available through the City of Toronto.
