Looking to fill a lightly furnished room in our beautiful, sunny 5 1/2 apartment located a 3 minute walk from Laurier metro. Each private bedroom has a closet and window, your room has a dresser and a book shelf. Near st. Denis and a 4 minute walk to Mont Royal ave. It comes with a large deck, balcony, in unit laundry and brand new kitchen appliances (dishwasher included!). The apartment has a lovely, sizeable kitchen, a smaller living room and full bathroom with a bathtub/shower. Your room has a ceiling fan and fits a double bed and dresser with some space to spare. Unfortunately the property does not allow for pets :(.

There are currently two of us living in the apartment and we are both queer, non binary students with a proclivity for cooking and making music. We are both smokers although the property is smoke free. My name is Ege. I use they/them pronouns and I’m gay. I’m a 21 yo international student from Turkey, studying computer science at McGill. I also work part-time as an IT assistant. I’m generally a clean and tidy person. I take house maintenance tasks very seriously and expect my roommates to do so as well (I’m not a hard-ass tho, I show understanding). I’m also a calm person and I value open communication. My hobbies include playing the bağlama (a traditional Anatolian musical instrument), reciting poetry, reading political theory, going to picnics, and occasionally going out (although I prefer cute daytime activities more). I’m also interested in alternative drag and going to ballroom events. I love cooking a lot, and I usually cook my mom’s recipes (so be prepared to smell a lot of Middle Eastern food!). My name is nicki I am queer non binary 21 year old multi medium artist and student. I enjoy Culinary practices, dancing, playing/making music and taking time to myself. I am extroverted but need lots of time to recharge and do so by taking time to myself. I am not anal about cleaning but I like common spaces kept tidy, rotating biweekly deep cleans and weekly vacuuming. I believe taking care of a common space is a shared responsibility and am always looking to communicate further to better my relationships. I like stretching and playing music in common spaces and throwing parties from time to time. I am a fan of hosting dinner parties and bonding over cooking. I am into a roommate who is down to hang, happy to do their own thing and who is open to routine communication.
