Sharon David's room

This is the larger unit (original house) of a 2-unit home (other was constructed as granny suite) in the Henderson area of Kingston’s West end. It is in a residential neighborhood with bus stop right next to home and 8 minute walk to express service. I am offering 2 rooms for 1 person on the main floor, currently furnished as a bedroom and office (also can be unfurnished). Private bathroom. Shared kitchen, main living area with AC unit which cools main floor, and washer & dryer in basement. Kitchen equipped with microwave, convection oven, Foodi Grill, Instant Pot & Keurig. Large unfenced yard with flowers and bird feeders. Nice deck to sit outside during summer months. Rent includes heat, electricity, Bell Fibe internet with 12-channel TV package.

I am the sole occupant of the large unit (other unit has 1 single lady in it), and will be the only other person living in the home and will mainly be downstairs. I’m a non-smoker, don’t use drugs or drink. I work from home 3 days a week but am retiring next summer when I turn 60, am an avid gardener, wood worker and bird watcher. As I have scent sensitivity and allergies home is relatively scent-free (no perfumes or strong smells, MUST be non-smoker) and no cats. I have a pet Cockatiel bird that is 25 years old who will be downstairs which is where I will be the majority of the time. Possibility for a small dog in the home. Looking for a quiet roommate to share my home with.
