Rue De Châteauguay

Hello! I am looking for a long-term roomie to move in between July 1st and August 1st in Pointe-Saint-Charles. My two other roommates are leaving and the lease is being transferred to me, I’m Ideally looking for someone who is willing to co-sign and help with re-furnishing/decorating. The vast majority of the stuff in the house belongs to one of the roommates that is moving out, which will leave us with something of a cleared-out blank slate to work with in July to create a comfortable environment!

Room information: The room will be unfurnished come July 1st, Rent for the room is $680 per month, utilities are usually around $60 per person, new internet plan is TDB. (There’s a 3rd bedroom in the apartment that was available but I’ve already found someone for it.)

Apartment Features:

• A stone’s throw away from metro Charlevoix (<100 meters)
• Less than 10 minute’s walk from multiple grocery stores and pharmacy, 25 minute walk to Costco
• In a pleasant, calm neighbourhood with Rue Wellington, Rue Notre Dame Ouest, and a park all nearby
• Washer/Dryer In-unit
• 3 bedrooms total
• Spacious yard with gardening potential (Landlord will be doing some landscaping too) Lots of birdies and squirrels like to come visit in the yard 🙂
• There’s been a cat living here that belongs to one of the roommates that is leaving, but the landlord wants to no longer allow pets in the apartment after the lease is transferred until she changes her mind. Very sorry if you have any pets to bring 😔

My name is Max (they/them), I am a trans/nonbinary and neurodivergent individual from Toronto, I consider myself to be a friendly and easygoing yet rather shy person, but I like to think that I get along easily with other people! I enjoy baking and have an interest in tea and tea ceremonies. I speak English and Russian. Notes:

• I have hyperacusis, which is a noise-sensitivity condition and am easily startled by loud sounds.

• I’d like to keep the apartment a non-smoking, non-heavy drinking, and queer-friendly household.

• I am looking for someone who cleans up after themselves in common spaces and leaves things tidy.
