About the room
Looking to Team Up with other Artist/Crafter/Maker, preference to Disabled, and/or Neurodivergent. Pro Queer, Pro Cannabis (no indoor smkking, other ingestion, and vape is fine), Pro BLM, Pro a lot more.
Hello, I’m a 50 year old, disabled artist on AISH, with a modest additional income as a jeweler and artist, as well as grant funding for projects.. I’m looking for a comfortable and safe space to call home for myself and my (fixed, well-trained, indoors, UTD on vaccines and treatments) cats.
I have a housekeeper who comes to take care of my house cleaning. And if all goes as planned, a regular light housekeeping from support weekly and more.
I’m quiet, like to work on my arts and crafts projects, and play with my cats. But, I also loke to go into my workspace, turn on music and make.
I also am a musician and rehearse during the afternoon and early evening, a schedule can be posted.
Long term (10 years is longest) references are available for me and my cats.
To that end, I’d like to team up so I can invest in a suite at an Artist’s Co-op, OR, a three bedroom live/work main floor suite to share rhe apartment space and if our art styles mesh and studio/retail space. If you’re only using the apartment we can discuss a different rent ratio.
I can get a small one on my own, but it would be tight. I’d prefer to meet someone a few times, see if we mesh, and then team up. I’d prefer a three bed because then the third can be a guest/flex space as well.
Room can be furnished ir unfur shed with a doubke bed etc.
I’d be the main applicant, and you’d be the co-applicant.
You must have a steady reliable income (aish counts), no pets (my cats max us out, fheyre very friendly, but shy, for a bit), a service animal is entirely allowed.
You have to be honest, authentic, and willing to communicate. You need to say what you mean and mean what you say. I am very literal, and we’d have to doscuss how to accommodate everything we both need for disabilities etc, and just for happy living.
You must provide a criminal record check including vulnerable sector, and I will do the same. (I am running a business, either route).
If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, let me know and we can chat options. There are a few other options available too.
Thanks for reading.
